Sandra is equally passionate about wine and education and therefore it only came naturally for her to become involved in wine courses as well as pursuing a long-term commitment to the study of wine, as an expression of all factors involved in its making. With a background in law, she decided to further her education in a rather different direction by taking the WSET courses and found their systematic approach a reliable teaching system, which she firmly believed in and wanted to share with others. This led her to graduate the various WSET wine courses, up to the WSET Diploma, which she completed in 2021, with the WSET School of London. In parallel, she has also completed a Master’s Degree in Winemaking, wine management and marketing with the University of Agronomic Sciences and Veterinary Medicine of Bucharest in 2019 and was part of the Romanian tasting team participating to the World Blind Wine Tasting Championship in 2021. Guided by the principle that the best way to experience and enjoy wine is to study it, she is always enthusiastic about sharing her passion for wine with other afficionados, be it over an open book or wine glass.
